the last post i wrote said that i was "quite driven to make team intense bigger and better". well, those plans have definitely come through. check it out...
in june i formed a non-profit organization called team revolution (click on "leadership" then "team revolution". i named it after my church since it has challenged me in so many ways to be a better person in all aspects of my life.
team revolution (or team rev for short) consists of eight key people that i hand chose to help me in the process of making a better team intense martial arts. these people are:
• master annalynn catalasan, president
• joseph westbrook, co-vice president
• christopher kaneshiro, co-vice president
• stacy erickson, treasurer
• caroline phan, secretary
• jeff kaihewalu, lead advisor
• mark woodward, advisor
• steve okerlund, advisor
these people have helped and will continue to help me shape team intense into a better team every single year...
got a few things goin' on this month:
aug 18 | team car wash
from 7am - 2pm at the alberton's on dale & la palma in buena park.
aug 25 | annual team beach bonfire
from 3pm - 10pm at bolsa chica state beach. lifeguard tower info coming soon.
as the summer winds down, team intense will be getting back into the tournament scene. after our 4 month hiatus, we're ready to hit the mats and test our skills in the ring once again! our first tournament back will be the jimmy kim invitational which takes place every year at the pyramid at csulb.
stay posted. i'm gonna be announcing when elite fighting team tryouts will be! a new team will be chosen in october.
